I'm Chris and I am the owner of The Present Pony. Horses have always been a part of my life.  I grew up on seven acres with horses in the backyard.  I still live on the same farm where I grew up and I still have horses at home.

I have a successful record at the FEI level in Eventing and also compete in the hunter, jumper and dressage rings.  Most days, I feel like an accomplished equestrian.  Some days I am full of self-doubt and afraid to ask for help.

I am also the mom of an equestrian teen. She is my pride and joy in all ways, but I cherish the time we spending together riding and caring for our horses.

Keeping my priorities in focus and balancing all aspects of my life is a constant challenge. I am dedicated to creating a supportive equestrian community for myself and others. It is also part of my mission to support women and girls in finding their place and power. I do this through the care packages and the educational membership I offer at The Present Pony
